Mind Wandering Poem
Friday, February 25, 2011
This is a poem I created while watching my thoughts get suspended in a reverie. I hope you guys like it.
Mind is still.
Yet, waves of emotions keep teasing its
edges.
Mind starts spinning thoughts,
Ethereal creatures,
with smoke tails slowly rising, dissipating
only to leave tiny sensory trails easily
awaken,
by sticky memory connection,
or buried forever in the soil of its
wandering shoreline.
"One of the best things about paintings is their silence - which prompts reflection and random reverie." -Mark Stevens.
