10 Things You Don't Know About Me That You Didn't Ask To Know But I'm Sharing Them Anyway

The blog is in need of fresh content. I really do need to dust off the cobwebs from this virtual space and that I have been doing the exact opposite calls for a tight slap on my face. Ow! Okay, I'm back. I've been preoccupied with work stuff that involves a lot of writing and eyeballing more writing that when there is free time to write on my own darn blog, I see it as a chore instead of a relaxing outlet. When I do not write, I read. And when I read and read, my eyeballs go kaput. So, to get back on the blogging track, I shall start with the easiest method: I shall write about myself to get the juices running, hopefully.
Ten things about me that you, dear reader, most probably didn't know:
1- I used to keep thick journals back in my dark teenage years filled with intense ramblings and heart-wrenching poetry. I threw them all out in the bin after I eased myself out of that phase.
2- I had a crush on Jonathan Brandis after watching him on a 1990 creepy clown film called 'It' and was crushed to find out about his suicide in 2003 at the age of 27.
3- I am a moderate coffee-drinker. No day starts without a boost of caffeine. I will be an intolerable douchebag without it but will be a sweetheart right after I down a cuppa. Okay, I'm sort of an addict.
4- I have 10 owl-shaped things in my room/work-space. 6 are gifted by siblings. 4 are made out of paper toilet rolls following a creative burst of energy inspired by Miss Muffin of Doom's DIY toilet paper roll owls. I am also a night owl.
5- I do not subscribe to any belief that is dictated by ancient books. I am a skeptic through and through.
6- I admire women with strong principles like Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Azar Nafisi and strive to be like them.
7- I am obsessed with crime documentaries. Dateline with Keith Morrison is my guilty pleasure.
8- In my spare time, I immerse myself in social and psychology reading with my favorite subjects being centered upon language analysis and deception study. This, I do out of my natural curiosity. Observing and studying the human mammal is fun.
9- The only MasterChef series I watch and thoroughly enjoy is MasterChef Australia. George Calombaris is my food guru.
10- I use Sam Harris' mindfulness meditation almost on the daily.
