Eyes Of Compassion

The time I stood in a grey corner in my casual OOTD made up of comfy things.
Hello Earth. How have you been rolling? I can still see the sun rising at the same spot, so I know you're still right where you're supposed to be. Hi human, what's up there cooking in your mind?
If you're hanging out in this space then I hope you are doing good. Thank you for giving me a read. I don't know what to write specifically about in this post as I seem to have run out of juice. Well, who am I kidding. I have so much to write about but I'm thinking to reduce the onslaught of words just for this post to give it a breather. Phew! You can just scroll and go now.
Plus, do any of you read everything and genuinely laugh when I make a joke no matter how bad? I think most people just zoom fast to eyeball the imagery and that's it. Not that I complain as I do derive fantastic pleasure from just smashing the keyboard stringing words upon words because this is how I unwind and somehow delight my own self. I might just go on a word spree one day.
What I was wearing which is the most super duper vital info for you to chew on to make your life better: thrifted abstract culottes, old cozy black tee from I don't know where, laceless sneakers on sales (because bums like me are masters at simplifying everything!)
To make this post utterly short and sweet, here's a poem by Adyashanti from his book Emptiness Dancing that gently nudges us to be mindful of the present moment.
Eternal Now
Take a moment
to check and see if you are actually here.
Before there is right and wrong,
we are just here.
Before there is good or bad, or unworthy,
and before there is the sinner or saint,
we are just here.
Just meet here, where silence is ---
where the stillness inside dances.
Just here, before knowing something, or not knowing.
Just meet here where all points of view
merge into one point,
and the one point disappears.
Just see if you can meet right now
where you touch the eternal,
and feel the eternal living and dying at each moment.
Just to meet here ---
before you were an expert,
before you were a beginner.
To just be here,
where you are what you always will be,
where you will never add anything to this,
or subtract anything.
Meet here, where you want nothing,
and where you are nothing.
The here that is unspeakable.
Where we meet only mystery to mystery,
or we don't meet at all.
Meet here where you find yourself
by not finding yourself.
In this place where quietness is deafening,
and the stillness moves too fast to catch it.
Meet here where you are what you want
and you want what you are
and everything falls away
into radiant emptiness.

Well, what do you think of the poem? Or my casual day outfit? Please unravel your thoughts down below. I take utmost delight in reading them so know that you can leave more than two words. I promise to reply!
A quote to touch your heart:
Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion. - Nhat Hanh
