Hi friends! How are you all doing?

Well...2020 has started pretty intensely, with wild bushfires in Australia and a novel coronavirus from Wuhan. I was feeling under the weather a few days ago but thankfully recovered from whatever it was.

Thank you, immune system!

I caught the sight of a mongoose about to fall from the porch roof while it jumped into a tree. My cats sprung into attention and kept vigil. The mongoose hid in the foliage of a tall palm tree before making its way across to a neighbor's bush by walking over bundles of electric wires. Long tail trailing its nimble body.

In the evening just before the sun disappeared into the cloudy horizon, winged ants swarmed into the sky before being swallowed by mouths of birds, lizards and squirrels. Their delicate wings scatter down from the sky like a fairy dust sprinkle before lightly settling on the ground near our feet.

Aiden, my Siamese furball watched instead of joining in the feast. He was immersed in the cacophony of happy bird sounds and fluttering wings until we called him.

Anyway, this post is about an outfit.

I wore a tunic dress of sort. Colored bright pink and adorned with floral lace, it's a pretty thing. As it was a total feminine piece, I chose to offset it with something unisex and through the sneakers, I did.
