Thrifted top to toe: navy blue vest cardi + melange red/blue mini skirt

The time I wear a thrifted top to toe OOTD.

Hey folks, how are you? It's been a lovely day here today after previous days with bouts of rain. Being the old sunny lady, I was feeling the temperature. As per usual, good weather had the legs of mine ready for a walk and it was a gloriously breezy day, the kind that gets the bob head of hair mine to flip here and there. I must admit, it was utterly divine.

It's been a while since I posted my last OOTD. This one's a really random one comprising of thrifted things that are actually pretty textured in fabric appearance. The top, vest and skirt are some variation of knits to wear for a cute little preppy thrifted vibe. I decided to wear these clothes together with the sandals in a combination never done before.

The thrifted navy blue vest buttons only at the waist in 4 golden button arrangements. The neckline is kept v-neck and long which is elongating. The white top worn underneath is no longer that white but it's sleeveless and adds a purposeful contrast.

The skirt is a unique one in my closet as I don't really have something like this. It is a lined knit mini skirt with a splash of colors that are crafted in the melange design style, I believe. The hem is rendered raw and fringy. I quite like it but it's not for hot days because the inner lining can really be heat-trapping. It's fine for cold environments, natural or man-made.

That said, the sandals are summer sandals in brown. I believe a casual white sneaker would be another great footwear for this and of course, a dressy shoe would lend a totally different vibe to it.

Last but not the least, here's an animated version of me and our furry angel, Aiden:

That's all for now, folks. I'm off to cook something. Hope you've eaten something good and that your day has been fantastic. Or if you're about to close your eyeballs, don't forget to count your blessings and say a prayer of gratitude.

Till the next one, stay hydrated, be fiercely you, get outside whenever outside is calling you!
